Bang & Olufsen MMC Phono Cartridges

The B&O MMC cartridge is a sterling example of Bang & Olufsen's pursuit and execution of superior design and engineering. "MMC" stands for Moving Micro-Cross, a design principle that integrated all of the cartridge components - coils, magnet, cantilever, and stylus and which became the patented moving-iron principle upon which all B&O cartridges were based. The MMC moving-iron cartridge is designed to produce the finest groove separation and accurate reproduction of music.

Since their discontinuation, B&O MMC cartridges are becoming a rarity. The B&O MMC1-5 series including the marvelous MMC2 cartridge and good sounding MMC4 cartridge have all been discontinued and are no longer available. For those committed to their Beogram turntables, we have acquired and are offering for sale a limited number of original Bang & Olufsen MMC cartridges. These are available while supplies last.

Application Notes: (1) The MMC 2 and MMC 4 cartridge can be used to replace any MMC1, MMC2, MMC3, MMC4 and MMC5 cartridge. (2) The MMC 20S can also be used to replace any B&O MMC10E, MMC20E, MMC 20EN, MMC 20CL model cartridge and any MMC3000, MMC4000, MMC5000 and MMC6000 cartridge.

How to Order Cartridges
When ordering cartridges, please include the brand, model number, quantity, and price for each item along with your name, physical address, and e-mail address. For an order of Bang & Olufsen phono cartridges within the US, the shipping and handling charge is $9.90. If you are buying belts at the same time, the total shipping and handling charge is $10.90. (We'll bill you for the additional if required but for most instances, this should suffice.) Shipping time will vary though the typical turnaround time is 7 days.

We ship internationally via registered airmail for our mutual protection. For all countries outside the USA, shipping and handling charge is US$18.90. If you are buying belts at the same time, the total shipping and handling charge is $19.90. (We'll bill you for the additional if required but for most instances, this should suffice.) Shipping time will vary though the typical turnaround time is 10-15 business days.

We accept PayPal, check, money order, and cash payment in US$ funds along with an order. For international orders, to save you time and bank fees we recommend payment via PayPal. Our receiving address is provided below.
