Graham Slee Projects phono preamplifier, Step-up and Headphone amplifier products

Graham Slee Projects specializes in phono preamplification, and apart from a headphone amplifier, make little else. So they know more about the subject than most. Firstly you ought to know, they DON'T make a phono preamp that sounds bland and lifeless.

PHONO PREAMPS

Gram Amp 2SE

The Gram Amp 2 Special Edition ($399.95) is different from most phono preamps available today. It captures both the essence and magic of music. Its soundstage is bigger and so are the dynamics, and this brings real life to the performance. No wonder, it has earned a roster of "stars" with reviewers and a multitude of end-users. It has garnered glowing reviews in the USA (where this British product was first launched), in the high-end magazines - The Absolute Sound (issue 134 and 138), in Stereophile (June 2002), on the Internet's EnjoyTheMusic.com review magazine, and in the European TNT-Audio.com Internet magazine. Most recently, it has become a Class C Stereophile Recommended Component (October 2002) and a Best Buy Recommended Product in The Absolute Sound (Issue 138, October-November 2002).

The Gram Amp 2SE exists so that you can realize the true potential of your vinyl collection, that it sound incredibly musical and better than CD! As you can see, the preamp looks simple. There is no flash, just function. All the labor and expense were invested on what really matters - the electronics inside that work the magic and the years of research and development that went into them. Glowing reviews, endorsements and a mailbag of acknowledgements suggest the designer got it right (and you will too!).

Era Gold Mk V

A phono preamp that reproduces music the way music sounds. Now on its fifth incarnation, it outclasses other phono stages by giving you master tape quality from moving magnet (and high output moving coil) phono cartridges. Michael Fremer in the Stereophile January 2004 issue (Vol. 27 No. 1) calls it the "miraculous phono preamp" for its ability to change and dramatically lift an entire system's sound quality and make music sound real! Subsequently, Stereophile in the April 2004 (Vol 27 No. 4) and October 2004 issues (Vol 27 No. 10) awarded Class A $$$ Recommended Component rating on the Era Gold MK V thus making it the least expensive component within this very exclusive class of superlative achievers.

Jazz Club LP and 78 RPM Restoration Phono Preamp

Adjustable EQ for records old and new. Fifteen (15) switchable equalization characteristics are provided in this Era Gold Mk V based moving magnet phono stage giving stunning performance from older records and modern day vinyl. Class B Recommended Component in Stereophile Vol.25 No.10 October 2002, Vol 26 No. 10 Ocober 2003, and Vol 27 No. 10 October 2004.

MOVING COIL STEP-UP PRE-PREAMP
Elevator

A range of step-up amplifiers (head amplifiers) which match the output of moving coil cartridges to moving magnet sensitivity phono stages. Featuring the valve (tube) compatible EXP "the best... I've ever heard - period..." TNT-Audio

HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER
