We're used to listening via high-end and very expensive turntables, so when we received this turntable we thought it would be another cheap and unlistenable performer. We were pleasantly surprised when we replaced the factory installed stylus with our own Audio-Technica ATN3600DLX stylus and the factory supplied belt with our special ViVid turntable belt. The turntable began showing its true colors. No, it is not impeccable--far from it. But the parts are very well integrated that the turntable plays music beyond one would expect at this cellar price, especially with the ATN3600DLX stylus that we are supplying with the AT-PL50. The factory installed stylus has a plastic-based cantilever, hence the difference in tracking and sound quality.

The AT-PL50 is a fully automatic belt drive turntable. It is easy-to-own, operate and maintain so you can focus on listening to music or burning CDs. It offers the following features and benefits.
